Broken Arrow Oklahoma Hotel Project

We've been hard at work on our latest Stoney Creek hotel.

The J.T. Unique team has spent the past year working on a hotel project in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It has been the largest, most design heavy and detailed hotel we’ve worked on to date. Many new designs, styles, and colors were incorporated versus Stoney Creek project we've worked in the past. See some of our past work with the hotel line on our J. Thompson Builders website in the blogs How J. Thompson Builders Transforms a Hotel Into Something Way Cooler and From Drab to Fab: Building Custom Hotel Furniture for the Hospitality Industry.

Our team fabricates all of the woodworking within the hotels, the style of the Oklahoma hotel is considered “urban lodge,” which has evolved in many ways from when we first started working with Stoney Creek as the past styles have been much more "Northwoods" rustic. But times are changing, and we've rolled with the changes and modernized the rustic style.

For this particular project, we worked on the standard rooms, the themed suites, the lobby and the hotel bar/restaurant.

In the standard rooms, we fabricated all of the vanity cabinets in the bathrooms and wooden shelving throughout the room itself.

We did some more custom work in the hotel’s suites, which each have a different theme shown in part through the unique woodwork. These themes include northwoods cabin, nautical, modern cosmo and presidential suites.

In these special suites, we fabricated items such as coffee bar cabinets, hot tub fronts and surrounds, vanity cabinets, beamwork, fireplace mantels and built-ins, sliding barn doors and other custom doors.

In the lobby, we did the woodwork for the grand staircase, all the trim in the breakfast and meeting rooms and the built-in shelves and benches in the front sitting room they call the library.

We began this project in late-April of 2017 and the opening date of the hotel was October 26th, though we were still doing some finishing touches in the shop into December. This massive project is finally finished, and we couldn't be happier with the beauty and detail we've infused throughout it!
